Project Description

Following appointment, we contacted the resident to arrange the planned refurbishment. During this conversation, the tenant reported an active leak affecting the property. A pre-start inspection identified a severe leak, with the bathroom ceiling close to collapse and significant water ingress requiring immediate intervention.

Our investigation traced the source to the flat above; however, access was initially refused by the resident. Working collaboratively with the Housing Liaison Officer, we arranged a joint inspection to explain the seriousness of the situation and the impact on the neighbouring property. Access was subsequently secured, enabling the leak to be repaired.

Once the leak had been permanently resolved, we immediately commenced the internal refurbishment. All remedial works were completed the following day, restoring the property to a safe, fully refurbished condition and delivering a successful outcome for both the client and resident.
